I thought I'd share some of our 4th of July fun. The kids were all home and brought extras, as usual. It was a wonderful surprise and a completely unplanned party - those are the best!
We had such a great time. There is nothing better than being with family on the holidays, or anytime, actually. And, we get to do it again this weekend! Clarke is turning 21 on Saturday, but I am giving him a party here on Friday. I'll be sharing photos next week.

Oh my goodness, where to begin! Well, first, Whitney has your beautiful smile. The first picture cracks me up, everyone is smiling very big, looking very happy, then Joe(?) has this pensive look going on. LOL! I also love your picture, Gena. You look so happy.
As for the glowing floor, an unnamed son-in-love squeezed one of those gak-type stress balls (at my mother-in-love's house on Christmas eve) a little too hard, and it was not a pretty sight. But yours looks kinda cool with the lights out ;o) What's a little mess when you're having fun? Except for the mama that has to clean it up. I know you had fun with everyone there. And...you get to do it again this week-end. Happy early birthday to Clarke!
Karen,
Yep, that's Joe looking pensive. He just wouldn't smile - he didn't want his picture taken, but I made him sit with everyone. He's a funny guy, though, and fun to be around.
The glow stick juice was all over my kitchen - floor, counters, bar stools and cabinets. It comes up easily though and it was fun to look at. It was also all over the deck. I think the kids got a little too excited!

Looks like all of you had an awesome time...so glad to see that! Hope Clarke's party will also be a blast :)
Love ya,
Michelle
